Jazz/Pop 4 track demo - a lonely man's lament. Kind of a 70's Dave Mason feel to it.

Story behind the song
The lyrics were written during a low point in my life, really feeling the blues muse. Seemed like I was pushing everyone and everything out of my life that mattered to me.
Stay away from me darlin', don't you get too close
It seems I always have to leave, the one's I love the most
and it'll leave me, lonely, I've gotten used to that
Love picks me up, turns me 'round, and then it drops me flat
It just happens, and it hurts, yeah-yeah.....
Margaret knows, Lucia knows but I know most of all
If you try to get too close to me, you're headed for a fall
and it'll leave you, lonely, I've gotten used to that
love picks me up, turns me 'round, and then it drops me flat
It just happens, and it hurts, yeah-yeah-yeah
