I had the song stuck in my head after seeing the two black guys on "Scary movie 4" sing it. I downloaded it and found a few parts that i liked/could use
and it wasn't till recently that i played the beat for Blaki (81-a-ki) and he said he wanted to get on it. I knew that he could get on some girl type tracks. thats what i thought we could do with it. Until i told him that i wanted to make somthing pertaining to the sampled voice saying "i sometimes see you pass outside my door....hello, is it me you're lookin for".
it was blaki'z idea to use that sampled voice in a context dealing with drugs and people lookin for him to buy from him. or cops lookin for him...it's brilliant
