Lyrics
(c) 2005 Written by Randy Hatchett and Charles Kirkland
I’ve got a one-way ticket to nowhere
On a train going anywhere
Anywhere that this shot glass will take me
She turned my world upside down
Just like the shots
That I’m pouring down
Pouring down to help me hide my pain
Lord please help me
Help me get off this train.
Chorus
Her leaving took the best of me
This drinking will get the rest of me
This ride might kill me
If I can't stop the pain
Lord please help me
Help me get off this train
Too much work and not holdin hands
Not enough lovin and makin plans
Now she’s left and I’ve got a glass in my hand
She said she's never coming back
Now I have to learn to live with that
So I'm on this train headed down a one way track
Lord please help me
Help me get off this train
Chorus
Her leaving took the best of me
This drinking will get the rest of me
This ride might kill me
If I can't stop the pain
Lord please help me
Help me get off this train
I’ve got a one way ticket to no where
On a train going anywhere
Anywhere that this shot glass will take me
Lord please help me
Help me get off this train
