The music is progressive with a few interesting chords. The lyrics are well worked and head toward poetry.

Story behind the song
For about 4 years in a row at the start of my song writing period I would write a song on New Years Day. This is one of those and it can be taken as a New Years song. In 2000 I did 8 Takes of this on tape and I thought it worked best of all the songs I have tried starting out with a midi file. Early this year I did 3 new digital takes of it and I can not decide whether or not Take 2 is better than this Take 3. I will put up Take 2 around New Years.
