Acoustic folk rock, singer-songwriter
I've been singing since I was able to gurgle but only playing the guitar since I was 11, when my "father homeward came one day and gave to me a toy" (Thanks, Tom). That was about 50 years ago give or take a few months and I've been singing, playing and writing songs on and off, during all that time.

Story behind the song
The music and songs of Duncan Browne inspired me to create this instrumental. I realised when I listened to the recently re-released back catalogue of Duncan Browne that he had a strong subconscious influence on my style of playing and in particular certain fills and pull-offs I use as a guitarist. Duncan Browne tragically died an untimely death from cancer in 1993 and this is a small contribution to his enduring memory.
