Story behind the song
I loved Ed Gerhard's arrangement of the Water Is Wide so much that I decided to do my own arrangement. I lifted one little run from his arrangement for part of my intro...this song has sure had lasting appeal.
I did go back and listen to Ed's arrangement to make sure I didn't lift more chunks of it, and was relieved that indeed I seem to have come up with an original arrangement...well is there really any original arrangement?
