Story behind the song
I had just finish tracking my acoustic part for Beaten, and I was fooling around with this. The engineer, George Borden, asked about it, I shared the story with him, & he decided to record it. It was never even a forethought for the album, but added anyway for humor sake. It was recorded with just me & the acoustic in front of a really nice AKG condensor mic, and I played & whistled. We tracked it over again about 6 times with just talking and commotion to sound like Slopoke Rodriguez out of a Speedy Gonzalez cartoon. It was fun.
