Story behind the song
I was motivated to write this song one windy autumn day overlooking the Ohio River at General John Butler State Park in southern Indiana, at an old stone structure homesite. Recorded by myself at White River Recording Studio on 8 track analog tape, and presented initially on Collective Works from White River 1998. Was a very popular song on MP3 from Indiana songwriters.
