For the families and the ones whose lives are gone

When I turned on my TV that Tuesday
I couldn't believe my ears or my eyes
Two American planes flew into World Trade Towers A result of terroristic suicide
Then I learned about Washington DC
About the plane that flew into the Pentagon
When another plane went down in Pennsylvania
The Lord above moved me to write this song

I watched the President talk later that evening Expressing both his sorrow and revenge
Our freedom was attacked by a faceless coward How the lives of all those lost we must defend The finger points toward Osama Bin Laden
There could be other terrorists involved
But I have faith our President will guide us
Toward all the justice we need resolved
