Story behind the song
This track originated not from a traditional melodic idea, but from a technical challenge: to rigorously test the capabilities of a new, proprietary generative music model developed in-house.
The core of this project is a bespoke neural network architecture trained exclusively on a curated dataset of my own original compositions, sound design, and harmonic language. Unlike models trained on vast, public music libraries, this approach ensures that every generated element inherits a unique and consistent sonic DNA. The goal was to create a system that avoids generic patterns and instead fosters a distinct, personalized auditory signature.
The workflow for this piece was a true human-AI collaboration. The process began by providing the model with a structural promptthe "wordless" phonetic lyric sheetwhich acted as a seed for the melodic and rhythmic generation. The model then ran multiple inference passes, producing a range of potential hooks and textures. My role shifted from pure composer to that of a curator and producer: selecting the most compelling AI-generated phrases, arranging them into a coherent structure, and then applying the final layer of heavy vocal processing (the vocoder and autotune effects) to sculpt the infectious, cybernetic hook.
The result is a track that feels both intentional and unpredictably emergent. This piece is less a final statement and more the first data point in an ongoing exploration of procedurally-generated music within a personalized creative framework.
