Lyrics
I took a ride out on the highway To let the wind blow through my hair It seemed so easy just to fly away But I didn't get nowhere I took a trip up to the mountains To climb so high and feel so proud At the top I felt like dying Cause there was nothing there but clouds Just when you think you're free You got no place to be I guess it's good to know You got someplace to go So lonesome was the cold night air So empty was the sky No one at all to know or care If you're dead or alive I came back home to my baby Right down here where I belong And when I start to feelin crazy I just sit down and play this song Just when you think you're free You got no place to be I guess it's good to know You got someplace to go You got someplace to go
