Composed, performed, and produced by Bob Forbes.
If I close my eyes and wander
As swiftly as the breeze,
She flows through the meadow
So calm and with such ease.
Just as swiftly as the breeze,
But still in my memory.
If I kneel by the river
To look into reflection,
Her face seems to materialize
Behind the running mirror.
Just as swiftly as the breeze,
But still in my memory.
When I think of the times
So special in our lives,
Often coming in my dreams
On peaceful slumber nights.
Just as swiftly as the breeze,
But still in my memory.
If once she would only stay
Long enough so I could say,
About the longing - "that I miss"
That grows harder each passing day.
Just as swiftly as the breeze.
