"Sehensucht" is a Sonata form preceeded by two preludes. Spiegelnraum is the first prelude, and refers to a "hall of mirrors" where each chord is a "deformation" of one's own same self image.

Story behind the song
Sehensucht is inspired on my early adult years spent in complete solitude at foreign countries. Speaks of deep loneliness and profound self-observation sensations, accompanied by fear, delusion, anger and moments of hope and restrained happiness.
