I wanna rise... at the start of the day I wanna lift my eyes to heaven... I wanna lift my voice in praise I wanna give... my life to the Lord I wanna live the story of His love... so He can be adored I wanna shine a light into a darkened world that’s lost in fear So that when I leave this old earth, well you’ll know that I’ve been here I wanna flow...I wanna fly ...and I wanna be free I wanna stand, stand up for what’s right I wanna put my hand into the battle...jump into the fight I wanna wear... all armor of God Take up the shield of Faith and walk the path that warriors trod I wanna grab a stone like David did and whirl it round and round Cast it out in Jesus’ name and knock that giant down I wanna rise...I wanna fight...I wanna stand...against the night I wanna flow...I wanna fly ... and I wanna be free I wanna sing... for the rest of my days I wanna bring a harmony to life of peace and joy and praise I wanna dance...to the music of life I wanna chance to change this mundane world ...of toil and strife I wanna celebrate heaven’s call and bow before the King I wanna know the words and melody of the song we’re gonna sing I wanna rise...I wanna dance...I wanna sing...give me a chance I wanna flow...I wanna fly ... and I wanna be free!
