Story behind the song
It's funny, every time I feel like I suck, there is usually an idea waiting to come out. One day I just felt like quitting. I started messing around and said, "Stop trying to be flashy, just be cool" and this came out.
This song is very simple. Even though it is theoretically correct, I wasn't thinking about staying in key at all. I just wanted to end the slump.
All my good songs were written when I felt like I sucked. I Like To Eat Soup, ????, ???2, Beginner's Luck, and now ?? 3. It is starting to seem like the worse I feel like I am doing, the better the new song is.
