new album Weird Blessing out Oct 4th Keith Cook - guitar, bass, vocals, drum machine
Awhile back I ended up with Leon Russell's drum machine.
I wrote 20 songs around everything left on it and there were 9 that he arranged which are denoted by the number he saved them on the machine as being included in the title, for example (Song 01).
I also included alternate versions of those 9 songs as instrumentals.
hey I see you
see through
start a new
I'm so blue
I'm so through
without you
without you
I'm so through
I'm so blue
I see through
Icey blue
I see new
nothing to do
nothing new
I'm just like glue
I stick to you
don't want what's new
how I grew
into what I am without you
living with your clue
such a vacant view
I still hold true
I alwasy knew
you always knew
on our hearts it drew
one day to breakthough
the sorry to ensue
the town to pass through
the loss of tissue
it's so undue
there's no way to undo
can't be what used to
so cold I withdrew
a collage of your tattoos
everything seems so untrue
inequivlant to you
into my world view
no way to renew
driving a long Lakeview
rendezvous Bellevue
look into
live up to
overdue reisdue
luck into voodoo
i owe you
out of view
fall into
collecter of internal revenue
like a montague
