Story behind the song
This song was published in a music book in 1966, but there was no recording. This version was recorded in Basildon, England in 1974 or thereabouts.
We speak of love and yet we kill.
We speak of love and yet we thrill
to see the flag of victory
And cannot hear the endless plea.
No more of war, no more of hate.
