Lyrics
All it took was just one glance at you,
That made me want more than a casual.
In your eyes I thought I saw desire,
All of my heart was set on fire.
Then the obvious began to rise,
Your feelings for me would be just a lie.
The look you gave it was not meant for me,
At least a friend would all it could be.
Our love will never grow,
And one side will never know,
Just how much was felt inside.
Forever I'll have to hide.
So life will have to go on without you.
Day after day I'll wonder what to do,
While you're in the arms of another one,
And I'm left to live all alone.
But at least a friend is more than nothing,
Though more than that will never be.
