If it's hot then give God the glory. If it's not then blame me.
This is our call
To lay down our swords
And this is our call
for all the ones we’ve ignored
There is no (Pause)
beauty that we can’t find
deep within our neighbors eyes
It’s the (Pause)
image of divine that lives within us all
and to Find where it lies
is our greatest cause
so We got to love
so We got to love them all
This is our call
The Bible records a conversation that will happen at the end of time
When Jesus gathers the nations And he began divided them
Like a shepherd slowly dividing his sheep from his goats
But the criteria he uses to separate them no one there knows
To the sheep at his right he said blessed are ye
For I was hungry and naked and you clothed and feed me
And I was stranger and you welcomed me I was in prison and you came
I was the very least of the least yet you loved me all the same.
Chorus
Then Jesus turned in disappointment to the goats on his left
He said You ignored and passed judgement when I needed your help
Both and goats and the sheep asked Jesus the same question
When did we see you in need and relieve or fail you?
He said when you did it to your brothers then you did it unto me
And I died and bled for all of others that you did not receive
In every soul you find, I’m there to be discover.
And The world will know that you are mine, by how you love each other
This is our call
To lay down our swords
And this is our call
For all the ones we ignored
There is no
beauty that you can’t find
(When you take a deep look) within
your neighbors eyes
It’s the
image of divine That lives within us all
and to find where it lies is our greatest cause
