Story behind the song
On the year I was born, my parents growing family decided it was time to move out of their present location. My father, (a railroad worker) My Mother, (a devout catholic) Their chosen spot? A former apple orchard walking distance to the railroad shops which happened to be behind St. Marys catholic church. So Dad built the house that forever will be ingrained in my mind along with my 8 Brothers and Sisters forever. This my tribute for a great little house that stood the test of time for a overly large family of 63 years. We hope the new owners will enjoy it as much as we did.
