I wrote this way back in the 70's when I first saw Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke. I recorded it in 2004. Finally I got around to uploading it here, it's fun, it's true, as it happened...Enjoy!

Story behind the song
Back in the 70's, I saw Cheech and Chong's "Up in Smoke" movie the night before. I had one of the most realistic nightmares I have ever had. I woke up with tears in my eyes, cause it was so real. The scenes were so fresh in my mind, it took no time to write the lyrics as it happened. In 2004, I finally recorded it, and I thought it would be fun to put it up now. I hope you like it.

And they walked right in, fore I could hide the keys
Fortunately, it was only Stanley,

Well everyone knows Stanleys a friend,
When one has a message, they know who to send,
Nevertheless, hes the life of the Party,
And he makes us laugh and he makes us hearty.

Well they took me away, and they locked me in jail,
They took my freedom without any bail,
They went away, to write their report,
And next thing I know, Im standing in court,
The judge looked over with death eyes at me,
Looked at the evidence item #3,
Said, I think well make an example out of him,
Bring me a rope, this boy gonna hang,
I said..Nooooooooooooooooo
Just as my, alarm rang?
