Wow! Not familiar with the original, but that melody sounds like something i would have written and in fact i actually did something very similar a year or three ago, but this guy was obivious long before me. So first of all i have to say thank you for posting this, so i could hear it. :) Now to the song. I love the melody in this one and the arrangement is really great with a very nice build up. I also really like the sounds you've used here as well. Excellent work!

Feels like going to the Middle Ages, a film. I see a lot of people in front of me, a village, an open field. There is a lot of Celtic in the music/mood, but there is a lot of melancholy as well. I think the film is about the common people (not the rich) who have to fight to survive day after day. A very strong mood here, really enjoyable.
