My cousin Paul asked me to write a song about him shortly before his death
As a young man Paul Felt he possessed all the keys
He took what he wanted and did as he pleased
And those who opposed him he put to their knees
In a world filled with violence Paul moved with ease
South San Jose was the place he called home
The rules that he lived by were rules of his own
But with all of that power Paul still felt alone
See he hadn't met Jesus or bowed at the throne
Glory to God in his name believe
Grace is there waiting for you to receive
Turn from your sin get down on your knees
And your heavenly father will set your soul free
Two wheels in the wind Paul rode through the night
When just then a church house came into sight
He could hear Jesus calling and he knew it was right
Sin shackles he'd worn were broken that night
He walked into that church with a thirty day plan
Little did he know he's walk out a new man
Glory to God in his name believe
Grace is there waiting for you to receive
Turn from your sin get down on your knees
And your heavenly father will set your soul free
Turn from your sin get down on your knees
And your heavenly father will set your soul free
