I decided to try to write my own version of a blues song based on some minor chords in 6/8. I even had the great luck, that the blues master Bruce "Swampman" Elliott agreed to play a true blues solo on it.

Story behind the song
I played around with some minor chords in 6/8 for some time and as it did sound like some sort of blues, I decided to try to write my own version of a blues song. I needed someone to add a true blues-rock style guitar solo, so I asked the notorious Bruce "Swampman" Elliott to help me. He sure added some great blues solo playing! Well done, cuz!
Lyrics
Someone's got the blues, in a motel room late at night You can hear him talking to himself, repeating time after time after time: Oh my love, Oh my love, Oh my love, Oh my love, Why do you treat me so bad? Why do you have to hurt me, baby? Saying that you've been with another man. Someone should've talked to him, but maybe he scared them away. His voice was loud and angry and he said some pretty scary things - like: I'm gonna shoot you, baby, maybe it's the only way. Then a minute later he was crying like a baby longing for his mother's arms.. If someone's got the blues, in a motel room late at night Don't hesitate to reach out to him , that someone might be me.
