Val Davis is a singer/songwriter who since 2002 has been getting some notice. In 2002 he was a finalist at the SolarFest singer/songwriter competition. In 2003 his music was featured on National Pulic Radio (NPR) and his music is currently getting airplay at several college stations around the US including XPN in Philadelphia. Val and his family returned to Vermont in Dec 2003 where he does web design and internet broadcasting.

Story behind the song

I was very moved by the occupy movement and its participants.  Its sad to me that our government shut it down.  But the movement continues.  It has gained ground in other countries and I think round two is about to begin here in the US.  Lets work together to change our society for the betterment of everyone.
