I met a 15 year old female singer/songwriter writer from Adrian MI through a Detroit News add....her name was Amanda; nickname "Dallas." Said her relative was Tanya Tucker. She sent me several letters and a picture.
So, I decided to help her with her career. Got her in a studio to record, gave her a ton of industry tips, and connections. I had compassion for her because she did sing a bit flat, but she was energetic an optimistic, wanted to be a "star". She was advised to get vocal coaching.
She snubbed me, and went nuts over the cute studio owner I referred her to telling me " I don't need you anymore." Good story anyways.

Amanda
I can hear you calling me
Amanda
You’re so pretty and so sweet
I’m old enough to be you ’re daddy
In a rocking chair I’ll be
One day reading letters that you wrote
Amanda
I can hear you calling me
Amanda
You say you wanna be a star
Amanda
You’re talents are unique
You’re tape is sittin’ on my desk
Buried deep with all the rest
Nine by tens business cards stacks of new CD’s
Amanda
I can hear you calling me

I’m just old enough to be you’re daddy

I saw you on TV last night
Amanda
It was me who got you signed
I’m old enough to be your daddy
In rocking chair I be
Reading all those letters that you wrote
