To Dry The Weeping Sky
Written by Michael Maroon
In the terrestrial vacinity of rhyme, there lies a ministry of light.
Within the boundaries of space along with time, a noise resounds from left to right.
Thought we heard the angels cry.
No one could expect from us to dry the weeping sky.
Enraged in cages where the light has shown no track. Once trees, our memories look back.
Across the lands of greed, for miles, we knew the way, Sensations dull our sense of touch.
Traveled far we had to try.
Mission here to wipe the tears, To dry the weeping sky.
Thought we heard the angels cry.
No one could expect from us to dry the weeping sky.
In the cool dark beneath the hills of green was life.
Stale air, we'd swear would never come,
In hell where devils dwell, they're well informed and strong,
while angels fight amongst themselves.
Thought we heard the angels cry.
No one could expect from us to dry the weeping sky.
Mission here to wipe the tears, To dry the weeping sky.
In the terrestrial vacinity of rhyme, there lies a ministry of light.
Within the boundaries of space along with time, a noise resounds from left to right.
Thought we heard the angels cry.
No one could expect from us to dry the weeping sky.
Enraged in cages where the light has shown no track, once trees, our memories look back.
Across the lands of greed, for miles, we knew the way, Sensations dull our sense of touch.
Traveled far we had to try.
Mission here to wipe the tears, To dry the weeping sky.
Thought we heard the angels cry.
No one could expect from us to dry the weeping sky.
