Esoteric, spacey, trippy
We are brought into a world so contrived, so prearranged that very few of us really see the world how it really is, how life is so fictitious.
Illusions
Our lives have become a tragedy
Of our own design it always seems
We seek solutions for our pain
And scatter the ashes that remain
Of our time on Earth
They teach us patience and not to fight
But it's never clear who's wrong or right
Illusions and smoke screens all around
Confuse the issues that keep us bound
To dreams of Heaven on Earth
Memories fade before we die
Love and passion ends with time
All is lost and nothing's gained
And each generation resets the game
Such is life on Earth
