Try to have a little faith
In her misery,
It's a lonely place
Far from the crowd
As the heavy weight
Breaks her battered soul
She cries out loud.
He's seen suffering
So he hides his fear
Like it's a game
It's a long hard road
To find happiness
We're all the same
As the world began
Dark became light
Man had his say
Peace became war
Love became hate
We turned away
Now we feel alone
And are so ashamed
Of all we have done
Never realised
We could sink so low
Where do we run
Try to have a little faith
Try not to give upton hoping
Don't ever let others take it away
Free yourself
So we stand in line
And we act like fools
Both you and me
And we pay the price
As we look at this
Humanity
But we still go on
Despite ourselves
Strangers and friends
And the tears come down
Like the falling rain
that never ends
Mitch Hiller
