Uptempo, with unusual mood. Fully orchestrated. Music written in 1996, and just now put some lyrics to it.

Story behind the song
I needed a song about severe disappointment, and bouncing back even stronger. That's the process one should go through when she/he:
1- believes Christ heals, and
2- thinks the cancer is gone, but
3- then it shows back up on the medical radar.
A great, 10-minute video on deliverance. I especially liked the "'Scuse me! 'Scuse me!" part.
Eighteen months, good reports. No sign of cancer.
Surgery. Radiation. Seems they were the answer.
Six more months, all that changed. The damn stuff came back.
Blew away my trust in Christ. Knocked me off track.
Comatose doubts and fears came back to life again.
Tempting to accept defeat. Tempting to give in.
But Jesus Christ whispered "No. Grip my hand tighter.
"Trusting me sometimes means you must be a fighter."
How life loves to burst, a person's bubble.
How the mind tries to cave when there's pain or trouble.
(v3 - partial)
If your trust takes a hit, if it gets shaken,
A tighter grip to Jesus Christ is all it's indicatin'.
This ride through life with the Lord
Takes a strong grip to stay on board.
When life comes fightin' our grip should tighten.
He is the source of all we need.
We're born again into a tough breed.
So grab a tighter grip one that can't slip.
That's what he needs for us to do...
That's what he needs to pull us through.
