Shanika 'Neeko' Freeman is a Baltimore based film, theatre and game composer. She has studied at Towson University for Law and is now on her way to receiving her B.FA in Music with a concentration in Theatre. She has collaborated with many artist, directors and fellow composers across the board, such as: Second City Sinner, J.O.V, Smokin Aces, Kristopher Monroe, and Emily Parker, to name a few. Genres includes hip-hop, r&b, pop, techno, rock, alt., country, theatre, orchestral and a host of others. Neeko has proven time after time, that she will shine no matter the adversities. Her music and lyrics has been described as 'refreshing', 'a force of nature.' , 'Complex, like Tupac or Nas' and simply 'peaceful'. Over her career as a composer, writer and artist, she has touched the lives of many and hope to continue her journey to inspire, impact and encourage many more.
