This piece is an instrumental ballad using expression instead of words to communicate how it feels to fall in love.
I was motivated to write this song as an anniversary present to LTG Dave R. Palmer and his wife. At the time, General Palmer was Superintendent of the United States Military Academy at West Point and I was a first class cadet looking forward to graduation.
Originally scored for solo piano, this version is a Kurzweil ensemble including synthesized piano, flute, strings and voice.
