Story behind the song
I basically wrote this song with the young people of E.O.C.C. in mind! (From ages 10 through 21) These are the young people of Evangelistic Outreach Christian Center, the church i founded and currently pastor! Even though the song crosses all age groups, and anyone who is a Christian can relate to it, my heart was speaking to our young people who are challenged by the ways of the world, secular society and peer pressure to compromise their faith and righteous lifestyle! My goal was to encourage them and others through a song (with a young vibe) to live for God in a world that opposes truth and righteousness. I wanted to let them know that they have the "Holy Ghost" to lead and guide them in all of their decision making in Life! To ask for his help whenever they are caught between a rock and a hard place. To trust him to equip them with the power and strength to overcome any situation that arises! Jesus said he would send another helper and he did! his name is "Holy Ghost"
