Natalee’s Gone
Music and Lyrics ©2011 by Ron Tintner and Wendy DuMond
Natalee’s missing, Natalee’s gone
Natalee come to Aruba after HS graduation
Spring 2005 she get a new kinda’ education
She drink all day, party all night in the hotel and the bars
Fifth night she go to Carlos and Charlie’s; ain’t been seen no more
Natalee’s missing, Natalee’s gone
Dutch boy Joran, and his friends have fun with that ‘Bama babe
Then drop her back at her hotel; that’s what they say
She‘s so drunk she can hardly walk; Hey, what you thinkin’?
No tellin’ what trouble that girl get in the way that she been drinkin’
Chorus:
Natalee’s missing, Natalee’s gone
No one’s seen sweet Natalee
Since long before the dawn
We all have our suspicions
But no proof or body found
Natalee’s missing, Natalee’s gone
Dompig head investigation; thinks he got it nailed
Joran and friends give misinformation, Dompig chase his tail
They search the beach, search the sea, in jeeps and boats and planes
(But there’s) Still no trace of Natalee, or her remains
CHORUS
Bridge (Natalee Rap):
I miss Alabama; miss my mom and dad
I didn’t mean for this to happen, didn’t mean to be bad
I wanna leave this place, I don’t wanna be a ghost
So get Van der Sloot to tell what he knows
Five years later still no answer; Joran’s in Peru
There’s another girl dead in Joran’s room; maybe that’s a clue.
First he say this, then he say that, tries to swing a deal
Thinks he’s pulled another scam but Joran’s locked in jail…
CHORUS
