Story behind the song
a few years ago I did an experimental synth song called "Aura Of Laura", in which I mostly used drum loops, synth guitar and my bass to create an eerily beautiful soundscape.
well, here's something in a similar vein I'd been working on for a few months. What makes this different from the first is that 1) I decided to put some actual guitar sounds in it (albeit effected), and 2) I made it a LOT more sinister sounding.
As for the title? Well, anyone who knows me knows that I'm a huge Doctor Who fan - and that the monsters known as the Weeping Angels are anything but heavenly! You can find out more about the "politest psychos in the universe" at http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/characters/Weeping_Angels.
