The reason this edgy song sounds a little different than the others is because bassist Mark Nowlin wrote it. If the Lime Giants had a single in 1988, "Johnny Quest" would have been the A-side b/w "Sensation Time." Both got significant radio play on Michigan State University's fledgling college radio station, 89 FM, the Impact. It took a while for the lads to get the hang of the tricky 7/4 meter for the intro and guitar bridge, but that's guitarist Cline shouting the count-off.
