I wanted to write a song that undeniably, and without compromise, proclaimed Jesus as the only way to salvation! while at the same time denouncing all other ways to get to God. If it sounds preachy, i meant for it to sound preachy without any apologies! The bible is clear on this issue and i wanted to be also, without anybody having to read between the lines! I realize it's a song that might offend people of other religions, but the truth most be told and made clear that Jesus alone can only save a person from sin and keep their soul from a burning hell... I also wanted to present the message in love coupled by the "Non Compromising Truth" which is able to set a person free when they know it! I wanted to present Jesus, and the cross in the simplest terms... All Christians are called to stand unashamedly and declare that Jesus Is The Only Way!!!
