Lyrics
How many years have passed since fondness touched these times? A once joyous occasion has become a source of grief. Conversation seldom breaks the longer moments of silence. I don't remember it being this way all that long ago. Now I can see the bitterness forming upon the cracks in the faces. Tears and laughter are leaving this place, emptiness takes hold. I once heard that time was precious. We lose it every day. So maybe these relations are more trouble than they're worth and we should just stop trying to fool ourselves. This ages us quicker than time could ever hope to. This is not a right of passage. I don't deserve this. Mistakes made in the past do not matter to me, if I can get through another meeting with a little piece of mind.
