Drums, Organ, Bass - Steve Caustrita; Piano - Tim Buckoff; Guitars, Vocals - Stan Loh; Lyrics - Stan Loh Melody - Tommy Hellsten, Stan Loh Mix - Tommy Hellsten
Tommy sent me a rough of this tune, he hurt his guitar playing hand recently, but I could make out what he needed, after a few iterations this tune was born; I wrote the lyrics. And with the help of Steve and Tim we have a piece we can write home about! Thanks to all how helped in this wonderful project.
Heaven – A Wedding Song
© Lyrics – Stan Loh; Music – Tommy Hellsten & Stan Loh October 8, 2010
Intro:
Verse 1
I can pick you out,
From a thousand in a crowd,
Your silky black hair that glistens,
Your eyes of sable jet,
The wedding dress that you’re wearing,
The tailors can’t forget,
And oh how you sparkle,
You’re shining like a star, my love,
Chorus
I’m lucky to own,
Treasures untold,
In heaven there’re no boundaries, no bigots, no undertones,
So in heaven I’ll be staying there,
Each step floats me on air, my love,
Verse 2
As I take this band,
A band of gold for your hand,
This promise I make is forever,
My love will never fade,
The meaningful years in heaven,
I banish words like hate,
And now as we are one,
Please take this wedding ring, my love,
Repeat Chorus
Bridge
Happiness is heavenly,
Happiness eternally...
Repeat Verse 2
