Mannequins At Midnight
Comment Share
Night on a quiet downtown street. There is no traffic, and the only signs of life are the displays in store windows. Slowly, almost painfully, the mannequins begin to move, and then they begin to dance in carefully measured steps, as the snow falls.

I am a solo performer. I play a Fender Squier, Squier Jaguar Bass and use about 3 different pedals.
I am a lover of music, literature and the arts. These have been my passions over the course of 6 decades. There have been times when I have been busy with other tasks, but I always return to what I love best, and these are things I can share freely with those who will listen.

Story behind the song
I was walking along Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, MN USA one night. The snow was falling lightly, and there was almost no one around. I passed stores and saw Mannequins. I often wondered if they saw me too, and when I had passed, would they start to move and enjoy the night as I was enjoying it.
