Story behind the song
At the time, I had separated from my wife, and had visititation with my children. There was so much pain inside of me everytime I would bring them back home....so much pain in my heart for their little hearts. I had to write a song to them, for them....so one day, they would know how much I truly love, and loved, them both. This is that song. As with 'Girl I Go Crazy' and 'Out Of My Head', it was recorded on the 6 track in our garage studio with me handling all vocals, guitars and drums, my brother on bass. The recording is kind of rough and has a second of feedback in the opening verse, but, it was such an emotional song, which comes across in the music and vocal performance, that it was difficult to re-record(at that time), so, that little musical error was left in.
