Story behind the song
This song was one of my "50" that I had to write in the 90 day challenge in 2001...thanks again to John Close for the music he put to it! BTW...the 50 song challenge at Yahoo Groups is starting July 4th again! This demo done by Transitions Media of Nashville.
Lyrics
That touch It came out of nowhere I never felt so gone The wind Blew right through my soul The chill of that touch lives on (repeat higher) The face on the clock is faded But it chimed the first time you touched me Your hands never left your side Some would ask how this could be But that touch It came out of nowhere I never felt so gone The wind Blew right through my soul The chill of that touch lives on (repeat higher) Love grew when we got together We weren't strangers passing on the street Waiting enhanced pure romance Our honeymoon made it complete (instrumental) That touch It came out of nowhere I never felt so gone The wind blew right through my soul The chill of that touch lives on (repeat higher)
