Story behind the song
This is something I've wanted to write for a while, but I could never find the right thing I wanted to say about my father. It finally occurred to me that what I admired about him most was his firm conviction and service to God for his entire life. And although he was never anyone particularly famous, it's people like him that are the greatest of the greatest generation. They give us all hope that we can be better.
