I put an ad in the paper today
One thousand dollar reward per rape victim who kills
the man who took her choice away
Two hundred dollars per person who blames the man
listens to the wounded, actually understands.
Perhaps a hundred for each flier hung up
telling men that when a rape happens the rapist is at fault.
A fine of three hundred for each time someone says the same old thing
"Why did she wear a short skirt if she wasn't ready for what that brings?"
"She was asking for it, you dress like a skank you are treated as such"
Actually, on top of the fine let's add a good punch.
I see the shocked looks on all of your faces
But I'm totally serious
There would be way less rapes
if we started killing rapists.
Vigilante justice at its very best
the court system doesn't work so let's take care of the pests
pedophiles' deaths could result in even more
or maybe their deaths would be enough reward.
I saw you gasp and mutter "but killing a rapist would still be murder"
Call it what you want, but there's now one less raper.
One less man to take away a woman's sense of soul
One less ass to result in that detached look in a friends eyes
One less monster that makes independent women shutter inside
I am trying to be calm about this, but let's be honest, I'm pissed
Guess what I read in an article today?
One out of three women in the american military is sexually assaulted
or raped.
One out of three, and that's just what's reported.
This rape culture keeps getting worse and it needs to be stopped.
So, let's start by making sure that 3 out of 3 rapists get shot.
You were hoping I was kidding, I take it?
I'm totally serious.
There would be way less rapes
if we started killing rapists.
Understanding, people tell me, forgiveness, human respect
Put down your loving kindness and look at the damn facts
I'm not saying you should kill theives, good Samaritans or prophets
I'm just saying that death is the just reward for every rapist.
Before you shake your head and think for the next couple minutes
of happier things
think of your sisters, your mothers, your daughters, your queens
Stop quoting Boondock Saints as if it's your sacred media of choice
don't refer to vigilante justice in your hypocritical voice
I know that many of you muttering below your breath
are the ones who are opposed to even the state's use of the death
But Grisham had it right when he said there was a time to kill
If we don't start taking out rapists keep raping they will.
I don't know about you but I can't take one more day
one more tear filled phone call one more friend raped
It's time to take action, to stop this, today
No more sisters or mothers with their choice taken away.
So no, I'm not kidding
Yes I'm quite serious
Every raper that's killed
Is one less f*** ing rapist.
So tomorrow I'll run a new ad, this one more clear
Kill every rapist and freedom is near.
No more walking scared women glancing over shoulders at night
No more clenching pepper spray hoping to make it home alright.
Tomorrow will be a safe one for the daughters and friends
Tomorrow the reign of the rapists will end.
