A dark, apologetic song for my wife.
Written the morning following an argument with my wife. I felt really bad about some things that were said, and wanted to honestly express how I felt to her. Sometimes it's difficult to truly express our emotions to someone we love. This song makes an enchanting attempt to do that. This version is also a combined song: the first part from a live acoustic studio session in 2000, and the second part from a live concert performance in 2003.
Chorus: I don't know how to tell you I'm sorry; I don't want to hurt you, don't want to see you cry. I don't know how to tell you I'm sorry; I don't want to hurt you, don't want to see those tears fall from your eyes . . . again.
