is this the train that i need to take to get over to the east coast i've been trying to be someone that's totally unseen like some writer that i'll never quote so i stay alone inside and i ignore all invites to parties and nights on the town it's been a long way up and i think i've had enough but this hill is further on the way down give me a piece of advice i can take home give me your word that no word of this is out every single day i read the paper in the rain but i think we're in some type of drought i've got a blank ticket that i will go in with and i'll go explore another place and when i quit again, i'll be screaming in the rain at another girl's crying face so i'm sorry in advance to whoever gives me a chance i don't mean to always run away and thank you instead, you know, i know i've never been someone that asks about your day
