Story behind the song
The starting point for this was a Yamaha RX21 drum machine pumped through a delay and played semi manually using the keys to select inherited drum patterns (it was given to me used) at will, but without any programming or reprogramming and without selecting any "song" programs, followed by bass guitar played using an Alesis Bitrman distortion box and changing the tape speed every so often to force unnatural and irregular pitch variations, then overlaid with electric mandolin and vocals using the same effects setup as the mandolin.
