Story behind the song
Originally recorded analog on a Tascam 488 in stereo fields (3 instruments on 2 tracks per field) with two fields recorded forwards, then the tape was flipped over and two more fields were creorded against the then backwards playing music, a technique that necessitated two mixdowns of the tape to reveal the full glory of the piece.
