Hello World!, I say WELCOME. I'm a 57 years old classic rock fan and musician. For the most part I only do covers of classic rock and folk songs but am known from slipping in an occasional ballad or instrumental here and there too.

Story behind the song
I started playing acoustic guitar at the age of 8 on a Spanish classic instrument. This particular song (at least as I remember it) was used in a Mexican TV PSA in the late 70s; I remember bits and pieces of it - being a 30 second long ad, what I have recorded and uploaded to Soundclick is more of a build of those memories. Why did I do the song? to test my new Dean Acoustic-Electric jumbo guitar, and to put the Alesis MultiMix8 Firewire through its paces using Adobe Audition... I had to reboot the WinXP machine twice to get it to recognize (again) the Alesis but in the end it worked (I'm getting a Mac soon for my musical endeavors). The song has numerous errors throughout. I need to accustom my fingers to the thinner neck of the Dean, switching from the Spanish Classic to it has proved my hands are too big to do their thing but I believe with practice (more?) I can lick it as the pros do. The title? I said it up there... this is how I remember the melody ;-)
