Downtempo & Reflective collaboration with Equality
Artist picture
Just an Ohio girl, who did a very un-Ohio thing by marrying her Philosophy Professor and running off to California. A former High School Junior Miss who went on to hang out with the hippies in College. Yeah. I'm that girl. !

Story behind the song
I was approached by Equality to record a new version of his beautiful song, "Confidence", and it became a *very* long-distance collaboration... between Sweden and California, USA. Written, played & mixed by Equality, featuring Jan Gissberg on drums.
Lyrics
I find myself in confidence With the ones I'm going to meet And I wish that you were walking by As we're strolling down the street As we're strolling down the street I find myself in happiness When the children's lives take form And I pray to some almighty god That their wounds heal from the storm That their wounds heal from the storm I find myself in loneliness I can't even make a call But I guess it just has to be that way You can never please them all You can never please them all (Bridge) And the years of innocence Never end as we grow old There's a secret room within our souls That would guide us, I was told That would guide us, I was told
